The eBook

Why read this ebook? Have you read other books about nutrition and are confused by conflicting advice about what's good or bad to eat? Do you dredge through you're day with low energy or suffer in sickness and suspect that your food could be to blame? Are you baffled at the ingredients labels on the grocery store shelves? Do food choices and discussions cause frequent disagreements with friends and family? Well, the answers are available...

2 Peter 1:3:
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

God has given us all things pertaining to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him.  Everything we need to know and how to handle every aspect of our lives is declared to us through God's written Word in the Bible or available to us through a word of knowledge or word of wisdom from Him.  When I first started researching this subject, there was so much information out there that it was enough to make my head spin and my gut rumble. I had been a Christian long enough to know, though, that the most certain and enduring sustenance for man is provided through God's promises to him in His Word and that is where I would look for the answers I needed.

So, knowing "that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God" (Luke 4:4), this book endeavors to investigate what the Scriptures say pertaining to food for the purpose of helping you gain a God-centered perspective on this topic, it's health related issues, social significance and symbolic meaning.  And ultimately, you will gain an understanding that when applied will not only benefit you but also bring glory to God.

Hi Amanda, This is so exciting. It seems to be exactly where I am right now. Would you please tell me what format this is in? Do you know if it will work with my Kindle, or do we need to load it to the computer?
    Thanks!

Thanks, Lonna! It is in pdf format to work on any computer. From what I understand, if you have a 2nd generation Kindle, you can e-mail the file to your Kindle to read after you’ve downloaded it onto your computer. Let me know if it works:)
